Whole Asian handicap
This is the most common handicap bet and very easy to understand. In the whole Asian handicap, a team with whole goals is given an advantage. Let’s assume that Bayern Munich plays against Ingolstadt. A clear matter, and therefore the quota in Munich is also rather poor. Not so with the whole Asian Handicap. Here, Ingolstadt is granted an advantage of, for example, two goals (Ingolstadt +2). In order for Munich to win this bet, you have to win the game with at least three goals, for example 4-0. The result of the handicap bet would then be 4: 2 for Bavaria. For example, if the game ends 3: 1, making it 3: 3 with a handicap, you will get your stake back.
Half Asian handicap
Half the Asian handicap is also quickly explained. We would like to use another example for this. Assume that Leverkusen has an advantage of 0.5 goals in the Bundesliga match against Dortmund. In this case, Leverkusen will be given half a goal and credited to the final result. For example, if the game ends 1: 1, Leverkusen wins the handicap bet with 1.5: 1 goals. As you can see, this also means that there is no tie and one team will always win.
